OUR STORY
The Vietnamese Baptist Church in Albuquerque began in 1994 when a small group of Vietnamese Christian refugees met together regularly for home Bible studies. Later, the group met in a small room at Crestview Baptist Church.
On April 13, 1996, the church was constituted as the Vietnamese Baptist Church. They continued to meet and worship God despite the fact that there was no pastor. On December 05, 1999, Pastor Tan Thai, one of the first members of the church, accepted his calling and became the first pastor of the Vietnamese Baptist Church. As time goes by and more Vietnamese people settled in the Albuquerque area, the church has grown in number.
Our church is the first and only Vietnamese Protestant church in Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico.
Thank God for His faithfulness.
